Information report "Cybersecurity of businesses"

uQuidIT.co welcomes the publication by the french Senat of the information report titled "Cybersecurity of businesses", which is a landmark for the awareness of the cybersecurity risks for small/medium businesses and enterprises.

Thanks to our work together with small/medium businesses as well and large-scale enterprises, we were able to detect a huge difference in the way companies take the cyber-risk into account, depending on their size. But IT security is not a matter of size. For instance: since the process of discovering security breaches is heavily automated, it cannot sort through the size of it's targets. This report demonstrate that the state has taken this factual situation into consideration, and such an heavy-weight actor can drastically change the dynamics in place.

Terraform 1.0

From 0.1 in 2014 to 1.0 in 2021, HashiCorp's main product (finally) officially passed it's first major version.

The key requirements for this version bump have been reached:
- the product has been deployed broadly with many years of hardening in production across a wide range of industries
- the major use cases are understood and well-supported
- the user experience is well-defined, documentation is clear
- the product’s technical architecture is mature and stable

More than juste a number increment, this version is a strong signal to all users of a Infrastructure-as-Code solution that is really agnostic from any vendor.
